OU/TX

I work at this wonderful place called SandRidge Energy. Love it! One the perks of working at a large company is that they give away tickets to EVERYTHING. Musicals, basketball games, concerts, you name it. Every time there is a give away I always enter my name in the drawing...NOTHING. I never win ANYTHING! Well when the email came out that they were giving away 2 sets of OU/TX tickets AND $250 I entered as usual. Much to my surprise I got a call on Thursday morning say I had won! WHAT?!?! I was shocked! I honestly forgot I even entered that drawing! Of course I called Darren right away and he didn't answer for an hour! GRRRR! Well I called my sister-in-law, Marnie, and asked her if she minded if we stayed with her for the weekend. Poor girl, she had a FULL HOUSE and of course still let us stay with her. Love my sister-in-law :)
Darren and I both left work at 3:00 on Friday to go home and pack and get ready. We made it on the road at about 5:45. Much to our surprise there was NO traffic on the way down there. I guess everyone else left that morning. We got in at 9:00 and we had made 2 stops! Crazy!
Saturday morning we all got up and headed to the fair. This was like nothing I have ever experienced before. I have been down to Dallas for OU/TX but have never been into the fair or the game. It made all the difference in the world! I am not usually a fan of the OU/TX scene but this year we had so much fun! I am so glad we decided to go! Here are some pictures from our wonderful day!

Getting ready to catch the Tram.

He clearly refused to cooperate.

Handy Man

I have posted this on facebook but haven't had a chance to blog about it yet. Lately Darren and I have been talking a lot about moving. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my house, but would really like to be in a different area. Along with the talk of moving comes the house search. This is painful. It is so hard to look at all these beautiful new homes because it makes you want to make changes to your own home. One of the things I love most about all the new houses being built are the beautiful shutters. I am obsessed with them. Every time we see houses with shutters I just stare at them so enviously. One day I rolled home and noticed that our next door neighbor magically got shutters on his front window...where did those come from?!?!? This made my obsession triple! If he can have shutters, why can't I? Darren made the mistake of telling me that our neighbor made his shutters himself! What?!?! Well, if you guys know me, you know that I got the idea in my head that Darren was going to make me shutters and I wasn't going to stop whining about it until I got them :) Much to my surprise I didn't have to whine too much at all. When I told him I really wanted him to make them for me he said he would do it that weekend!!! This almost NEVER happens. I usually have to be EXTREMELY persistent with him.

That weekend we dragged our happy butts out of bead and headed off to gather our materials. First things first, we had to decide what color we wanted to paint/stain them. So we drove around in one of the newer additions in our area and looked at all the shutters. Luckily, Darren and I have very similar taste so we both agreed on one we loved very quickly. Off to Lowes we went. I hate Lowes...HATE IT! I never know what I am supposed to be getting and it just doesn't seem like a place for a lady...but I was determined to get these shutters built! I followed Darren around the store like a lost puppy while he gathered up everything we needed. Oh, I forgot to mention how lucky we are to have such a handy brother-in-law who had all the tools we needed to get the job done. THANKS CHADDIE!

Right when we got home Darren laid all his stuff out and got to work. I was SHOCKED at how easy this project was. It only took him about 2 hours to build these! Of course I stayed outside with him to cheer him on (micromanage)! When he got the all together I helped him slosh the stain on...so easy...no technique needed. And presto! My beautiful shutters were complete! We let the stain dry overnight and my dad headed over the next morning to help us hang them. Hanging is always the hardest part but they had a pretty good approach!

Here is the finished product :)

I sure am lucky to have a sweet husband to do all the crazy projects I dream up for him to do! Although I usually have to work a little harder to get him to do them, they always get done :)

Running Update

Wow...so I dropped the running bomb on you quiet a while ago and then just left you hanging! Let me give you all a little update as to where I am at. Yes, I am still running! Woo hoo! For me this is a MIRACLE! I have actually started lifting weights with the SandRidge trainer 2 days a week as well. I am loving the feeling of lifting and being sore...but I think it is taking a tole on my running. I was running every day so it was getting a lot easier. Now I am running every other day and it is making it a little more difficult. It will all come together soon...I just have to be patient! Right now I am running 4 minutes walking 1 minute (sometimes I have to walk 2!) and going for 3 miles. I am at about a 35 minute pace so I need to shave some time off! One thing that I think is going to be difficult for me is getting used to running outside. Right now I do everything on the treadmill. It is so much harder to run outside! Ugh! Well, I better get used to it because on October 9th I am running the Race for the Cure 5k! Who am I?! I remember when I used to have to go to this thing with Pi Phi and right when the race would start I would sneak off and go back to my car to go home!!!! Sad but true! Well I guess this time I am going to try to make up for all those runs I missed!

I have to give a shout out to my friend Kelly again! She just ran her 2nd half marathon and is about to run another in October. She is amazing and is definitely my inspiration! She loves to tell everyone that she couldn't even run a mile when she started! Look at her now! I love you Kelly!

The weather is starting to get nicer and running outside will be much better! Get off the couch and go for a run...you might just get inspired :)

Shayne Mackey Selmon

I am an Aunt again! Ok so maybe not a blood aunt, but the bonds of Pi Phi sisterhood are just as strong right? One of my best friends Rachel had her baby girl on September 21, 2010 at 1:45 p.m. She weighed in at 6 pounds 5 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. She was tiny, pink, perfection! As you all know I have 5 neices and nephews, so I have done the whole baby/hospital visit thing a few times. It is completely different when you go and see one of your friends. I honeslty can't describe it. Maybe it was a feeling of "oh, wow, this will be me some day soon!" but it was completely surreal. I was SOOOOOOOO proud of her. Of course, in true Rachel fashion, not one complaint came out of her mouth. She was pretty much the bubblies post birth woman I have ever seen. Hearing her side of the story was quiet refreshing...of course she told us all "it wasn't that bad." Maybe she is just trying to not scare us so we will all hurry up and give Shayne some friends! Haha! I love Rachel so much and now I love baby Shayne even more. Congratulations Rachel and Zac!
Beautiful Baby Girl

Shayne and her Aunt T (I look freakish in this picture but no one should be looking at me!)
This picture is really blurry (thanks Darren!) but we are definitely haloing Rachel and Shayne :)

Chase Ray Lasley

I am an aunt again! Woo hoo! On Sunday, August 29th, Dusty called us a 2:30 in the morning to tell us that Megan's water had broke and they were headed to the hospital! Darren and I went back to sleep knowing that this could be a very long processes...no need to head to the hospital just yet. Well, at around 6:00 a.m. we got a text saying the baby should be here around 8:15! Holy Moly...shortest labor EVER!!!!!!!!!! So we got up, got ready, and headed to the hospital in Enid. Chase Ray Lasley made his way into the world on August 29th, 2010 at 10:02 a.m. He weight 7 lbs 10 0z and was 21 inches long! We just love him so much already and think he is a PERFECT new addition to the Lasley clan!

Could I become a "runner"???

Anyone who knows me knows that I HATE running! Pretty much the only way to get me to run is to chase me...or maybe have a really big clothing sale...I may run to that! Well, the past month I have been trying to watch what I am eating and maybe get a little exercise too! The wonderful thing about working at SandRidge is that we have a really nice gym and I can work out on my lunch break. So, I have been dragging my co-worker Ashlei down with me a couple times a week. It makes things much easier when someone else is being tortured with you! I have been "toying" with running on the treadmill and mostly do the walk/run method. Walk 2 minutes, run 2 minutes, walk 3 minutes, run 1 minutes, blah blah blah. I was starting to get the hang of that and thought...maybe I can run a mile! This may not sound like a lot to you in shape people out there but to me this is CRAZY! Well, today I DID IT!

So now I have this funny idea in my head. Maybe, just maybe, I could become one of those runners. My friend Kelly has been so inspiring lately. Every time I check her facebook status she always has a new update about how many miles she ran that day. I am not kidding you it blows me away every time I see it! Kelly was never really a runner until she trained for her first 1/2 marathon last year. She is currently training for another one right now and I just think it is so inspiring. So I had a thought...Could I run a 1/2 marathon? MAYBE! So I decided to plant the seed in Ashlei's head today (there is no way I could do this ALONE!). Guess what...SHE'S IN! So we are going to do it! We are going to start getting really used to the whole running thing for the next couple months, then mid-December we are going to start training for the Oklahoma City Memorial Half Marathon! HOLY COW!

Now I think I am being pretty bold by making this post this early on! I am really good a quitting things and I really don't want to quit this! So all you readers need to hold me accountable! Tell me to run run run!

Fabulous Find

Lately I have been very interested in finding and "antique" piece of furniture and reworking it. This all came along when I was reading a blog that referenced http://www.allthingsthrifty.com/. This is the most amazing "how-to" website. I LOVE IT! After seeing some of the posts she did on painting and glazing furniture I became obsessed. I sent kept sending Darren pictures telling him that this is going to be our next project. The only thing I had to figure out was what furniture I was going to paint! Well after taking inventory of what we had there just wasn't anything suitable. So next I got to put my favorite pastime into play...SHOPPING :)

When Darren and I go visit his family I always make him take me to Weatherford to get my ring cleaned (I just love how sparkly they make it!). Well on our way there we always pass this antique mall so I wanted to stop by this time. OH. MY. GOODNESS. This place was huge/amazing! I was in heaven. And right when we drove up I found my DREAM piece of furniture to redo. So after a little persuasion (didn't take much) I talked Darren into letting my buy! Weeee!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Here is my delima. I am absolutely IN LOVE with this thing as is. It already has an antique worn look to it. Soooo I think we are going to leave it cream for a while. Eventually we are going to paint it turquoise and do a glaze over the top. But I just can't part with the cream for the time being.

Happy Birthday Gidget!

Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday baby Gidget!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I was a little excited about Gidget's birthday this year! After all, she is and always will be my very first baby! Since Gidget is a little 4th of July baby I knew her ACTUAL birthday would not be a day for celebrating because we would be all over the place doing 4th of July festivities. So Saturday was a day for celebrating! Darren and I got up on Saturday to run some errands so I made him take me to Petsmart so I could hook my little love bug up for her birthday! I REALLY wanted to get her a new collar but didn't really want to order the one I saw online...I just don't think I can justify $20 on a new collar right now! So we got her some delicious treats instead!

Gidgets Birthday Gifts:

1. Dog Treats (duh)
2. A can of dog food (She NEVER gets this unless she finds it at my mom's house)
3. A monkey squeaker toy
4. New bones

When we got home I couldn't wait to give her at least one of her toys! She and Ringo were absolutely obsessed with the monkey. They fight over it so bad they have already pulled one of his legs off (poor monkey).

Well Darren was really excited about the new dog treats so he decided he wanted to start "training" the dogs. (I personally think they are a lost cause)

Gidget trying to learn how to SIT...she wasn't very good at it :)

Ringo peeking through the window wondering why Gidget is getting all the treats!

Ringo was actually much better at the "training" which was a complete surprise to us! When Darren would pull out a treat and tell him to sit he would do it IMMEDIATELY! What the heck Gidget!?!?! When we would tell her to sit she would start bouncing all over the place...oh well...at least she has her looks!

Here is a really blurry picture of them playing tug-o-war with THE MONKEY :)

And finally here they are WIPED OUT after a long day of playing and birthday celebrating!

I even talked Darren into letting Gidget sleep with us "since it's her birthday!" I can be very persuasive! She got the rest of her birthday gifts on her actually birthday and she loved them all...she told me!

Here is Gidget when she was widdle...

Happy Birthday Doodle! Mommy loves you!

In loving memory of GRANDMA DEMO

On June 16, 2010 I lost my first immediate family member. My Grandma Demo passed away that morning at about 8:00 A.M. I am so thankful that my entire family made the trip to Hutchinson, Kansas to see her just 4 days before. When we went to visit her I was honestly bracing my self for the worst. I had been warned by my family that she wasn't doing well at all and she probably wouldn't know who I was. Much to my surprise she was completely alert and aware! The first thing she asked me was if I was being a good house wife! Haha! Gotta love her! It was so great to spend time with her. She asked me how my married life was going and if I had been cooking, etc. I got to tell her the funny story of my attempt to make her famous CARROT COOKIES! How was I supposed to know there is a difference between baking powder and baking soda?!?! I think she found me quiet entertaining that day :) When we headed back to Oklahoma after visiting her I honestly did not think that was the last time I was going to see my grandma. I thought she had many many more months in her. But Jamey warned me that he thought she was holding on until we all got to say goodbye to her. And that was exactly the case. How sweet of her to wait for us all to get to see her one last time! I know she was suffering and was completely ready to go. She even told my aunt that she was ready to go to her Heavenly Home. And that is exactly where she is looking over me right now!

Grandma's funeral was beautiful! There was a slide show and TONS of pictures of her with her family. I love seeing old pictures! She was so beautiful! That day was really hard...

There was one thing that my mom told me that really just made me love my grandma more than ever. My grandma's friend went up to my mother and was giving her sympathy. She told my mom that my Grandma Demo had told her a while ago that she really just wanted to "hold on" until I got married. She wanted to make sure that she got to see me marry a really nice man! Wow... Even though my grandma didn't get to make it to my wedding she stuck around to know that I was taken care of. The last day I saw her I took her my wedding video to watch :)

I loved my Grandma Demo so much and will miss her! I hope I grow to be a wonderful woman just like her!

Dallas

Last weekend Darren and I decided to head to Dallas to see Marnie and the kids. We planned on heading out of town after getting off of work on Friday and after we dropped off the dogs at my parents house. Well...that was the plan at least. Marnie text Friday morning and told me that Presley REALLY wanted me to bring the dogs. Who could turn down such a precious 6 year old. So after work I went and packed up the dogs and we headed out of town. Normally when the dogs go on car rides they sit in my lap, I was not sure that I could handle 3 hours of that so I put them in their crate in the back.

We were honestly SHOCKED by how good they were. Gidget whined for a little bit but then the both fell asleep and stayed back there the entire time! Such good babies!
When we got to the house Marnie had to give us the tour! They just moved into their house in January and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I am so happy that they found such a wonderful home that is so perfect for them. After the tour we all settled into be to get a good nights rest for the long day of playing that we would have ahead of us.

This is what I walked out of the shower to Saturday morning... (a little blurry)

We all got ready Saturday morning and hit the town. Their house is so perfect because it is WALKING DISTANCE from everything. So we walked over to the plaza and had some lunch. After of course we had to hit up the ice cream shop. Here are the kids playing on the chalk board.
Later that afternoon we went home and got ready for a night on the patio. Everyone got their swim gear on and we prepared some pizza. Their house has and AMAZING brick oven on the patio so we had HOMEMADE pizza...basically like the Italians do it :)

I started by kneading the dough...

Then Darren tossed it...

The kids put on the toppings...

We put it in the oven...

And PRESTO...an absolutely DELICIOUS brick oven pizza!

After pizza we swam and played and relaxed!
T and Cashie
Ringo testing out the water...
And trying to make his escape!
We had such a wonderful weekend and can't wait to return! We love you Marnie, Presley, Jett, and Cash!

Gardening

Last summer Darren and I got into gardening. We planted some flowers and the front flower beds and did our mailbox planters and a few pots. This year we decided to go about and beyond and tackle the flower beds in the back. Since we got all new patio furniture I LOVE being in the back yard. I wanted to make the scenery a little better so Darren took on the feat of clearing out the flower beds and we ventured off to TLC for some flowers! It is almost sickening how much you can spent on flowers. The upside is that HOPEFULLY they will all come back next year so you only have to spend the large amount once!

Here are some pictures of the front. I love how the flowers get bigger and bigger each year! There is actually a plant in the middle that get HUGEEEEEE with flowers but it blooms a little later.

Here is the back!

Unfortunately the flower bed on the bottom was completely destroyed by the dogs. At first we thought that they were eating them then Darren discovered that that is where they go to fight so they just trample all over the flowers. Sad day :(

The guilty culprits...

Doxie Dash

The title says it all...

I am obsessed with the Dachshund Dash and every year I want to go and have never been. Well this year I had the perfect companions to drag with me! I started warning Darren from the moment the Gazette started advertising that we were going. He acted resistant but I knew he would pull through.

Well the day of the race it was a little rainy but I was determined! We decide to leave Ringo behind since he is so little and let Gidget be the princess for the day! Boy does she LOVE BEING THE PRINCESS!!!

In the car ride on the way to the race I could tell that Gidget had to potty...she had a little gas :) This totally freaked me out because I did NOT want her to potty in the middle of the crowd...I didn't want her to be THAT dog. When we got there I think she was in total shock. There were dogs EVERYWHERE! She was so good...she didn't bark once!

We all got situated in the stands and waited for the races. Here is a picture of Gidget ready for the show!

Gidget and Mommy (excuse my crazy eyebrows...)

The races were HYSTERICAL!!!!! OMG! Darren was not real happy about being there but once he saw a race I think he kind of liked it! (he would probably say that was a stretch) After 2 races we decide to go and check out what the vendors had to offer. I LOVE buying things for my dogs...it is sick. I can only imagine how I will be with children. Well, I got tired of holding Gidget while I was looking so I made Darren hold her. All of the sudden he starts FREAKING OUT and tells me that she is trying to poop WHILE HE WAS HOLDING HER!!!!! So I grab her and we make a mad dash for the exit outside. Of course it is still raining and of course Gidget refuses to poop, she finally peed and I knew that was all I was going to get.

We went back inside and decide to head for the car. We parked at the Chase building so we took the Sky walk back to the parking garage. It was so fun to see all the little Doxies headed for the show. Gidget wanted to stop and greet all of them! Darren was walking Gidget on her leash and she stopped and started pooping! Darren starts FREAKING OUT AGAIN and tells me to CATCH IT! Catch it??!?!?! REALLLLLY?!?!?!?! But I obeyed. I seriously got the plastic bag and tried to catch her poop as it was coming out. I was MORTIFIED. Oh...and don't you worry...we had an AUDIENCE! Ugh. So needless to say Gidget was THAT DOG that pooped in public. LAME.

We had so much fun and I hope we can go next year and bring Ringo along.

I will leave you with a picture of my sweet little babies sleeping...

It's been a while...

you ever feel like you are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO behind on your blogging that you are to overwhelmed to put together a post? That is exactly how I have been feeling! There have been so many events lately and I feel like I am so behind that I can't even get up the energy to post about them...well here we go!

First thing we have missed is my BIRTHDAY! I am astonished that I haven't dedicated an enter post to this...but oh well! This year I turned 24 (on April 5th) and it was wonderful! My parents, Jessica and Eric, Suzanne and Noah, and Darren and I all made our way to Eischens for my birthday dinner! It was AMAZING! I think Darren and I liked it more than everyone else! Let me rephrase that...I think Darren liked it more than everyone else...he at an ENTIRE CHICKEN! Who is he?! I continue to wonder where he stores all of this food.

For my birthday my wonderful sweet husband bought me these. http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2915149?Category=&Search=True&SearchType=guidednav&keyword=tory+%3e+Women%27s+Shoes&origin=searchresults
(I still don't know how people post the link without making it look like the above)

I am so excited about my new shoes. I actually already had this pair but I have had them for 2 years and they have had ENOUGH! I could not wear them ONE MORE TIME!

I had the most wonderful birthday ever and am so glad I got to spend it with the people I love.

I swear I will post more this week...this one just wore me out ;)

Yummmmy

To fight off cabin fever during our heavy snow Darren and I got productive in the kitchen! I have been dying to try out our brand new kitchen aid mixer and Saturday was the perfect opportunity.

I decided that I would get really creative (well by my standards) and make Banana Nut Bread from scratch! I have never made anything like this unless it comes in a box...I was very nervous! Well let me tell you that this mixer is AMAZING! I am not even kidding, I feel like it made the banana bread by itself! I was amazed by the power of this thing...it is my new favorite toy! Darren decided to take a nap while I made the bread which got me nervous. What if I didn't do something right? He is normally right behind me making sure I am doing everything correctly (annoying, but often useful). Well, IT WAS A SUCCESS!

Since I made the yummy bread Darren made us some DELICIOUS stew! OMG! It was probably the best stew I have ever tasted! Good job babe!

I would say we had a very successful weekend of cooking/baking! It was really fun and a change from what we normally do. I think I am going to make a habit out of baking but I need to make sure to not make a habit out of eating! I think I will try carrot cookies out next! Stay tuned!

I have to leave you with a sweet picture of precious Ringo napping!

Happy Birthday Darren

Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear DARRENNNNNNNNN!!!!!! Happy Birthday to you!

Today was Darren's birthday and we have been celebrating all weekend. Friday after work we went to our favorite burger place DAN'S OL TIME DINER with Tim, Amy, and Carson. IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOD! Darren and I felt like pigs because we completely demolished all of our burger and and entire basket of fried. Tim, Amy, and Carson had 1/2 a basket of fries left...needless to say...I was embarrassed by the amount of food we ate! Oh well!

After dinner we headed back to Tim and Amy's to play the Wii. Ok, the boys played the Wii. Amy and I chatted and looked for puppies online :) It was a very fun night!

Saturday we went to get the pup and just stayed home and hung out with our own little fam (me, D, and the dogs!).

Sunday we went to church then headed to my parents. They took us all to BJ's to celebrate. It was sooooo good. They got Darren and I (joint b-day gift) a Wii fit! I can't wait to use it but it was on back order until April 3rd. After lunch we came home and I made Darren some lemon cupcakes for his birthday. I was actually really proud of myself because I even made HOMEMADE icing! (Darren's mom told me how.) I am so sad because I didn't take any pictures of them. Boo.

Today I sent Darren to work with the cupcakes to share with everyone at work. I laughed because I felt like he was my child and I was sending him with birthday treats for his class! Bahaha!

After work on Monday Darren's parents came down and took us to Texas Road House. Wow...I ate a LOT of food. You would think that I NEVER get to go out to dinner...I just inhale everything that is put in front of me...NOT GOOD! After dinner we came back to the house and sang Happy Birthday and ate cupcakes. Darren's parents got us a Kitchen Aid Mixer for our birthdays!!!! Omg we are so excited! We are going to make banana bread this weekend. I am going to turn us in to little bakers :)

The only present Darren got from me was lots of love and Ringo. Ok, so maybe Ringo was more of a gift for me :) I want to get him some new Sanuk shoes but the ones he wants are sold out EVERYWHERE! So I will continue my search for them and get them for him when they become available. Bummer :(

It was a wonderful weekend and a great way to start of the week. I love you Darren! Happy Birthday!

Ringo Lasley: We Must Be Crazy!

So I am sure all of you know I have an obsession with my dog Gidget, and weenie dogs in general. Well Friday night we went over to Tim and Amy's house and brought Gidget along to play. She has so much fun when she is around other dogs and their lab and maltese are no exception. So I decided she MUST have a friend at home to play with. Darren and I have talked about this before but I though he would never let me get another dog. He hates that I am so attached to Gidget and never want to leave her, I think he thought I would be worse with two! But, in my head, I wouldn't feel AS bad leaving them if they had each other to play with. Well, I think Amy was a big help because she was working on him with me and he said "well let's go get one tomorrow!" YAYAYAYAYAYA! Then he gave me the conditions. Booo. He said if we get another one we have to get a Jack Russell or a Boston Terrier. Blah. Ok well this was a baby step. I think Jack Russells are SUPER cute so we looked some up online and Amy even called on them. I kind of dropped it after that since we were with our friends and were playing games.

Then next morning when we woke up Darren asked me what I wanted to do for the day. I just said "uhhhhhhhhhhh...I dunno". So then we started talking about getting a puppy again. I just told him that I had heard Jack Russells were super hyper and that made me nervous since Gidget is literally the laziest dog in the world. What would I do with a dog with so much energy? So we decided to do some research. After reading a couple of sites on Jack Russells we decided that although they are the cutest little dogs, they may not be for us. Besides being know for acting SUPER HYPER they are also not the most tolerant around kids. That was the kicker. Gidget is AMAZING around kids! My niece tries to pull her head off and she just lays there. So then Darren said the words I thought I would NEVER hear "well maybe we could look at the weenie dogs they have listed." This was a complete SHOCK to me because Darren thinks that weenie dogs are so stupid! Hahaha! So I jumped all over this and we started calling places IMMEDIATELY. I was scared he was going to change his mind! The even funnier part of this story is that I wanted a boy and Darren wanted a girl. I wanted a red one and Darren really just wanted to stick with black like Gidget. We ended up with a red male :) This is not because I am a brat...but that really was what they had! I just got lucky!

When we talked to the lady that we decided to buy from she had 2 red males so we told her to bring both so we could pick. We packed Gidget up (we thought she could help us decide) and headed to Ada.

When we got there and the lady pulled out both of the puppies I immediately knew which one I wanted. He was so stinking cute I couldn't take my eyes off of him! But I did feel sad for the other puppy. I know they will find him a good home though!

Riding home

Gidget wouldn't even look at me on the way home!

Checking out my new crate

It took Gidget a while to come around...but I think she is starting to like Ringo! They started playing which is super cute. Gidget gets a little rough with him but he will learn to take her down soon enough.

Sleepy babies
I am so glad my sweet husband likes to let me have my way because I love both of my babies!
